Why You're Losing Leads in Your DMs
Find where customer enquiries lose momentum, then build a reviewable reply workflow with your AI agent and Replaid.

Not every DM is a lead. But when a relevant enquiry sits unanswered, gets an incomplete reply, or has no clear next step, the conversation can stop before you learn whether there is a good fit.
The useful question is where that happens in your own inbox. Start there before deciding what to automate.
This guide has been updated for the current Replaid product: a connection between your customer channels and the AI agent you bring.
Look at the conversations you already have
Review a small sample of recent enquiries. For each one, check whether the customer received an answer, whether it addressed the question, and whether someone knew what to do next.
Separate those problems. An unanswered message needs attention. An incorrect answer needs better information. A request outside your service area may need a clear refusal rather than another follow-up.
You can keep this review in a simple document or spreadsheet. The aim is to find a repeated problem, not to assign a conversion rate to every message.
If your inbox mixes audience questions and partnership enquiries, see the creator workflow for a way to review those different types of messages.
Give each enquiry one useful next step
Here is an illustrative example. A customer asks for a quote. The reply says, “Thanks for reaching out,” but does not ask for the information needed to prepare that quote. The customer still has the same problem.
A better next step might be one question about the work they need, or a clear explanation that a person must review the request. It depends on your business. A quick response is only useful if it moves the conversation forward.
Write down what information you need and what you can promise. Those instructions can guide both you and your agent.
The customer message follow-up guide shows how to turn those instructions into a draft and a qualification decision you can review.
Let your agent help with the repeatable part
Replaid gives your agent access to conversations from supported connected channels. It can read the available context and save a draft through permitted tools. You supply the business knowledge and reply instructions.
Try this first:
Read this conversation in Replaid. Identify the customer’s unanswered question. Use my business instructions to save a draft that answers it or asks for one missing detail. Do not invent a price, deadline, or policy. Do not send the reply.
Review the result before allowing sends. Check that the agent used the conversation context and did not repeat a question the customer already answered.
You can also use Replaid’s action controls to limit what the agent may do. For example, begin with reading and drafting, then allow specific actions only after you have checked the workflow.
Make human attention part of the process
Some conversations need a person: a complaint, a special request, or a decision that depends on information the agent cannot access.
Tell the agent what those cases look like. Where permitted, it can request an escalation in Replaid, which marks the conversation for human attention and pauses automated replies. You still need a routine for reviewing and resolving those cases.
Do not confuse an escalation with a completed response. The customer may still be waiting.
Check improvement with your own results
Choose a few measures you can collect consistently: relevant enquiries left unanswered, time to a useful response, drafts that need correction, and conversations with a clear next step.
Compare the same types of conversations before and after your change. If you measure sales, keep that separate from reply speed. A faster answer does not by itself prove that more customers bought.
You can start the agent manually while you learn. If you later want it to process messages unattended, you need an external schedule or webhook receiver to start it. An MCP connection alone does not turn on automatic replies.
Create your account and follow the connection guide to test a draft on one channel. For more ideas, see three customer message workflows for your agent.
